A pharmaceutical company in New Jersey has a great Remote opportunity awaiting a new Consultant IV, Medical Affairs.

Responsibilities:

The Consultant IV, Medical Affairs (Remote) will:
  • Actively participate and provide strategic & scientific input to all medical affairs activities associated with the development and commercialization of Neuroscience/Psychiatry products
  • Develop global brand medical strategies and tactics for assigned products
  • Actively contribute to ongoing company research and development efforts, such as the provision of scientific expertise for pre-clinical and clinical studies and evaluation of potential licensing candidates
  • Actively contribute to the development of the Scientific Communication strategy plans and materials, including core global medical materials, scientific publications, posters, and symposia presentations
  • Act as a liaison with internal partners and regional Medical Affairs teams to enhance the global cohesiveness of scientific content
  • Provide expert input into the development of regulatory filing, market access and brand plans globally in alignment with Global Medical Affairs strategy
  • Ensure scientific accuracy, fair balance and patient first mindset in public dissemination of information and data globally, including product labeling and promotional materials
  • Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Doctoral Degree (e.g. MD, PhD, PharmD), Masters Degree in a relevant Scientific and/or Clinical discipline
  • Experience in Clinical Study design, planning and execution an asset
  • Strong scientific background in Neuroscience/Psychiatry, including knowledge of the current and emerging treatment landscape
  • Solid knowledge of Drug Development (pre-clinical and clinical) and of the Pharmaceutical industry
  • Solid understanding of the company's products, commercialization strategy, the competition, and the pharmaceutical industry in general
  • Computer savvy
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficient (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized
